Bear

Welcome to the Bear Den

Den Number

Third Grade or 8-9 Yrs

Den Leaders:  Kevin Bessenbacher/Robyn Larson
Summary Much of the advancement for the Bear rank is done by the scout with his family outside of the den.  The parent signs off in the scout's handbook and the Den Leader records the advancements from the handbook in our tracking software called Scoutbook.  The Bear program relies heavily on family involvement, but you will see this gradually change with the scout doing more with his den and more individual direction as he graduates to Webelos.

Ready to join? Then you probably have some questions. Email us through the "Contact Us" page above and we will be in touch!

Bear Den Meetings and Pack Meetings:
Pack 777 Tiger Den meetings will likely be held held on the 1st and 3rd Tuesday of every month (September - May) at West Valley Christian Church.  Once you are a member, you can look on the Tiger calendar on ScoutBook.com for this information and on all Tiger Den specific meetings as well as the monthly Pack 777 meetings.
Pack Meetings are typically the second Tuesday of every month from 6:30-7:30 pm and are held in the Connecting Place of the West Valley Christian Church.
If your Bear missed a den meeting, check with your Den Leader to see what you missed and should complete at home.  There will likely be a message initiated through Scoutbook to inform you what was covered at the meeting.
